Sixty years ago, the company paved the way with its defibrillation-related technologies and it continues to develop advanced tools for emergency medical care, both for hospital and outpatient use. Its LIFEPAKR defibrillators were carried to the top of Mount Everest and were launched into orbit to the International Space Station (ISS).
Today, over a million units are used as a part of rescue equipment, in ambulances, and multifunctional medical trolleys – thus providing protection for thousands of communities across the world.
Physio-Control employs over 1000 team members across the world. Approximately 700 of those members are located in Redmond, state of Washington, along with the registered office of the company.
